Faculty/Staff Permits
A and R Permits listed below are available to eligible employees (0.75 FTE or higher). Employees working at the Health Sciences Center may also purchase T permits for the parking garages.
A Permit
Can be used to park in unmetered visitor/patient parking stalls at University Hospital after 2 p.m. on levels 4 & 5 only. Cost: $288.00 |
U Permit
Can park in most "A" stalls that are posted "U" after 3 p.m. Watch for signs that tell you which stalls are exceptions to this rule. Can be used to park in unmetered visitor/patient parking stalls at University Hospital after 2 p.m. on levels 4 & 5 only. Cost: $145.00 |
E Permit
Can park in most "U" stalls that are posted "E" after 3 p.m. Watch for signs that tell you which stalls are exceptions. Cost: $70.00 |
M Permit
Motorcycles must be parked in designated motorcycle pads around campus. They can also be parked in regular vehicle stalls, provided the appropriate A, U, or E permit is displayed. Cost: $40.00 View Motorcycle Parking Map (PDF) |
D Permit
Sold to any student or employee who has a medically certified disability. Allowed in disabled parking stalls except those marked for disabled visitors. These permits also allow for parking in any "A," "U," or "E" stall. State-issued disabled permits are valid only for campus visitors. If you are a member of the University community, you must have a "D" permit. Temporary disabled permits are issued on an as-needed basis. R Permit
Available to full-time faculty and staff. May also park in "A," "U," or "E" stalls but only one vehicle is permitted to park on campus using the reserved permit. Other vehicles on campus at the same time must display the proper permit for the lot they are parking in during those hours when permit parking is enforced, or have a valid day pass. May be purchased by staff and faculty who are at least 0.75 FTE with benefits. For exceptions, please call us. Allows parking in "A," "U," and "E" stalls.
May be purchased by anyone who is affiliated with the University. Can only be used to park in "U" and "E" stalls.
May be purchased by anyone affiliated with the University. Can be used to park in "E" stalls only.
Sold to anyone affiliated with the University who wishes to park a motorcycle on campus. Can be purchased at half price if you've already purchased an annual automobile permit.
Selected parking spaces have been designated for drivers with disabilities. Applicants for a "D" permit must provide written proof of their disability from the division of motor vehicles in the state where they reside. Parking stalls for disabled drivers are also located in the pay lots and the University Hospital garage and are reserved for visitors to the University and University Hospital. Visitor parking fees may apply in the pay lots.
Reserved stalls are marked with a number which allows only the stall owner to park there. Extended-hour reserved stalls are enforced from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday. Twelve-hour reserved stalls are enforced from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Semester permits are sold for the Fall Semester only. After the Fall Semester, we sell regular "U" and "E" permits for the remainder of the academic year at a prorated cost.
