U Rideshare

*Commuter Services and the Utah Transit Authority will be holding two open houses in an effort to promote and register students, staff, and faculty for van pooling. Please join us at these open houses and meet representatives from the University and UTA. They will be available to answer any questions and register those interested. Van pooling is a great way to participate in the University’s climate action plan in reducing pollution. We encourage members of the campus to consider joining a vanpool.

The University of Utah is engaged in educating the campus community concerning alternative transportation options. In the coming years it is essential for all University employees and students to reduce single occupancy vehicle usage, improve mobility, enhance air quality, and conserve energy. Carpool

Commuter Services currently offers carpool lot parking in two locations on campus. In the Health Science center and in the University Services Building parking lot. More details coming soon.
